From Wikipedia: New Romanticism (also called blitz kids and a variety of other names) was a pop culture movement in the United Kingdom that began around 1979 and peaked around 1981. Developing in London nightclubs such as Billy's and The Blitz and spreading to other major cities in the UK, it was based around flamboyant, eccentric fashion and New Wave music.

This was an additional tune that I was introduced to through the purchase of the Living in Oblivion compilations. Classix Nouveaux is yet another band that you cannot easily talk about with most people because they are not well-known. However, this little tune totally rocks! I don't understand why more retro clubs never played this one either. I think I might have heard it at Numbers in Houston on one occasion, if even that.
It also might interest you that one of the members of Classix Nouveaux, Gary Steadman, later joined the band that opened New Romantic week - that's right, A Flock of Seagulls.
Don`t say I know what you`re thinking
It`s plain to see
I see my opportunities shrinking
In front of me
I know you`ve made up your mind
But don`t say
Although I know of no crime
It`s the same
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
I wonder why you haven`t the time for
The reasons why
To hear the truth might alter your mind or
Open your eyes
I know you`ve made up your mind
But don`t say
Although I know of no crime
It`s the same
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
Guilty
Guilty you`ve found me
