Week Six: Jesus Jones - "International Bright Young Thing" - Doubt

So in my previous post, I made mention of the fact that at one of the Jesus Jones shows that I attended, I was able to go backstage and meet the band.  However, I actually attended two or three of their shows, and every time they played this tune live, the performance was so full of energy that you could almost feel electricity coming from the crowd.

It is so shocking to me that this particular song never received airplay, at least not in my town, because it is so catchy.  In fact, the clip that I have included from Youtube was purposely selected to show a live performance instead of the official video.

You have to watch the keyboardist totally rock it out.  That guy is no joke!  I swear to all existing deities that he actually dragged his keyboard across the entire length of the stage, while dancing, at the Music Mill Amphitheater at one performance. 

I remember thinking to myself, "Okay, so is he dragging that thing to the restroom with him, or what?"  He is a total candidate for ADHD, but he is super-entertaining to watch...enjoy!!
