Week Eight: 1960s Girl Groups - The Chiffons - "He's So Fine" - The Chiffons: Greatest Hits

I feel that it's pretty safe to say that The Chiffons are best known for their hit, "One Fine Day," which has been used in just about every "chick flick", since the inception of the term "chick flick".  However, I am going to go against popular opinion, because that's just the kind of person that I am, and say that "He's So Fine" is the snappier tune of the two.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I feel that "One Fine Day" is so worn out like a threadbare towel or something.  It's not that I dislike it.  I just dislike the idea that certain artists often have a handful of hits, but they seem to be associated with the same song over and over and over again.

The Chiffons have at least half a dozen other hits, as I mentioned, and they are all worth a listen and are incredibly easy to locate online.  The youtube clip below is actually an alternate version of the song and is refreshingly crisp and clear... enjoy!!
