Week Sixty-Eight: Curve - "Already Yours" - Doppelganger

This week, I am going to cover songs by the bands, Curve and The Dandy Warhols, both of whom I saw play live at The Galaxy Club back in July of 1998

(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)(@)

I was flipping through some of my old music magazines the other day, and I saw a few items pertaining to Curve; so I thought I might share them with you...

First of all, I will provide you with a write-up about their album, Come Clean, from the magazine, Industrial Nation, which I apparently picked up at Last Beat Records down in Deep Ellum:

Additionally, I will include a write-up about Curve from Alternative Press, one of my favorite magazines, but if you recall, it was quite a large magazine; so I had to put two scans of the cover together. I am also including the write-up about Morrissey and about the ENIT festival that Perry put together, since they all appear on that same page:

In addition to "Already Yours", I am also including the songs, "Doppelganger" and "Wish You Dead"...

A gift from God
a small creation
a prized possession
without limitations
behind these eyes
what can you see
that isn't
Already yours
Already yours
Already yours
Already yours

In fact I've never wanted anything more
in fact I've never wanted anything less

Oh you shouldn't treat me like a stranger
you say I have the same effect,
only this time on you
behind your eyes
what can I see
that isn't
Already yours
Already yours
Already yours
Already yours

The voices of angels
are in our blood
The voices of angels
are in our blood
The voices of angels
are in our blood
The voices of angels
are in our blood

Behind your eyes
what can I see
that isn't

Already there
Already yours
Already there
Already yours
