Week Thirty-Three: Echo & The Bunnymen - "Bedbugs & Ballyhoo" - Echo & The Bunnymen

Every time I hear this song, I am unfortunately reminded of an ex-boyfriend that I had many, many, many moons ago. I remember that I burned him a CD of what I considered to be super-fun songs, and because I knew he liked Echo & The Bunnymen, I placed this tune on the CD. When I asked him if he enjoyed the mix, he told me that this was the stupidest song he had ever heard and that it totally ruined the entire CD. *gasp*

I think we made it all of three months as a couple... if even that. I should have known it would never work once I found out that his job was figuring out where to put the decals and logos on the Interstate Batteries Nascar racing vehicle and that he wore racing gloves to drive his "tricked out" car. Do I know how to pick 'em or what?!?!?!  :-D
