One of my favorite things about holiday weekends is that one of the local radio stations will usually delight me with an 80's weekend. This year, 100.3 - Jack FM - came through for me! So I will select four songs that I heard over this holiday weekend and tell you about them...

I caught When in Rome back in 2006, when they stopped by Fair Park Band Shell with Devo and The Psychedelic Furs. I will include my ticket stub below, as well as the interview that the Dallas Observer ran with Richard Butler of The P-Furs to promote the show, since I've already had The P-Furs Week:

More recently, the Dallas Observer ran an article on Jayden Frost, who toured with When in Rome. Apparently, he has opened a vintage toy store in Lewisville, TX. When in Rome had a somewhat confusing band member history, and I'm not even about to get into it here.
