Week Two: The Jesus & Mary Chain - "April Skies" - Darklands

This is a tune that causes me to have a real love/hate relationship with it.  I love it because I find it strangely soothing, but I hate it because it reminds me of one of the most difficult relationships that I ever had to endure in my life.  I won't go in depth at this time because I am sure that I will make more references to this particular period of my life in future posts.

All I truly know is that this little JAMC song makes me realize that the one thing I, as an individual, should never do is "sacrifice myself to you..."
