This week, I will be covering songs, by different artists, that share the same title, better known by moi as "Double Takes".

Yes, it is another "Triple Take" for you today...in fact, I gave you lots of excellent tunes to explore this week! Just an FYI - today would have actually been a "Quadruple Take" if I had not already covered Electronic's tune called "Disappointed"...
So, I'll start with Public Image Ltd., but I'm not going to say a whole lot about them because there will be an upcoming PIL Week. However, you may remember the lead singer, John Lydon/Johnny Rotten, from my post about The Sex Pistols during Songs of 1977 Week.
As for my dearest Moz's song, "Disappointed", all I can truly say about this one is that this is an example of Morrissey at his most clever and most cryptic nature with his lyrical content. Sure, lots of people have taken a stab at the meaning, but all that anyone can seem to agree on is how humorous it is that Moz takes a jab at himself at the end of this one...
And last, but certainly not least, are some fabulous locals called Hagfish. You may remember that I first posted about Hagfish very early on during Week Seven: Various DFW Area Artists. I saw Hagfish play around Dallas in the '90s multiple times, and I even caught one of their Christmas shows with my mother one year. We stood right next to one of the guy's family members and had a blast! They thought it was super-awesome that I was there with my mother!!!
So that's it for this week... I guess that next week, I'm going to have to tackle some more love songs for Valentine's Day... ick blah... just teasing!!!
