I was doing a little bit of Fall cleaning --- (how can it already be Fall in Dallas and still be 80 degrees outside... ugggghhhhh?!?!?!?) --- and I came across a mixed CD from an ex-boyfriend. This was not the worst mix of songs that I ever received from an ex, but it was most certainly not the best one either --- (see Week Fourteen: Mixed-Tape Madness for the winner of that honor)!!! So, for this week, I will share with you four of the songs from the CD...

Joan Jett was this particular ex's all-time favorite female artist. He wanted so badly for her to become my all-time favorite female artist too, but Siouxsie Sioux was already firmly planted in that position and wasn't going anywhere either!!!
Again, it's not that I dislike Joan Jett; in fact, I really do like her and her work. It's just that I never really got all that into her music. However, I really dig her version of this tune, "Love is All Around", which is, of course, the theme song from The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Since I had to listen to so much of her music for the three years that I spent with this particular ex, I will also include a few of my other favorites: "Crimson and Clover" (which is a Tommy James & the Shondells cover) & "Bad Reputation"...
