Week Fifty-Seven: Adam Ant - "Wonderful" - Cassingle

And just when you thought you had most likely seen every cassingle that I owned, I went and withheld this one from you purposely because I knew that I would be able to use it more effectively during Adam Ant week.

This song was released in 1995, and although it was a substantial departure from his earlier work, it is one of the loveliest songs that I have ever heard. Adam had aged so gracefully up until that point, as well. He's not much of a "looker" now, but in 1995, I was still admittedly drooling over this man.

I'm not even sure how I ended up with the cassingle of this tune, but I was pleasantly surprised when I came across it in my collection... I'll include another treat for you in the form of his earlier work when he was in a little group called Adam & The Ants - "Kings of the Wild Frontier"...

Oh and here's a fun fact about the album, Wonderful, that I pulled from Wikipedia:

"The band for this album included ex-Ruts drummer Dave Ruffy and Morrissey's guitarist Boz Boorer and Marco Pirroni."
